Robert Gierla is the founder of Metro K9 and has worked in the field of dog training for over 30 years. Robert has trained thousands of dogs for clients located around the globe including law enforcement agencies, celebrities, and high profile business executives. An   expert in dog behavior, Robert has also long provided dog bite prevention training for PSEG, United Water and a host of other companies in the NJ and NY areas. Metro K9 Academy are proud members of Service Dogs of America (SDA) Schutzhund USA , AWDF, the SV and the American Boarding Kennel Association (ABKA). All of our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC).
